Above the Clouds Wedding and Event Venue sits high on the Blue Ridge crest where the world falls away and the sky feels within reach. We said our vows in the open-air as the sun melted behind the endless sky, spilling rose-gold light across the view while real clouds drifted like a silent sea far behind us. The beautiful pavilion glowed softly with Edison bulbs laced through the yard, and the cool mountain breeze carried the scent of pine, and wild honeysuckle. Long farm style tables draped in ivory linen spilled over with peonies, garden roses, and trailing eucalyptus, and every time we turned, that serene mountain view caught the sky’s colors—first fire, then lavender, then deepest indigo. When the stars finally ignited overhead, sharp and impossibly close at that altitude, and we promised forever in a place suspended between heaven and earth.
